So the weather is beautiful today. Absolutely incredible. The temps are in the low 70s and the humidity is barely noticeable.

In other news. I decided today would be as great a day as any to give WordPress a try. And so far I’m really impressed. The initial setup was a breeze.The cms is simply brilliant. Little things like a word count really make a difference. As to the product itself. I am really digging that comments and a search field are automatically installed. For a free pricetag this would be hard to beat.

Now I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can push the limits on the layout.

Goal: To find out if WordPress can take on the look and feel of  a website without looking like a blog.
